oing up on a hot air balloon was always on my bucket list. Photography has it's perks. Free travel, free food, free cruises, and free hot air balloon tours. I've known Alex for quite some time. We went to Mills Middle School and also Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova. One day he contacts me asking if I am available for a photoshoot. I honestly wasn't expecting for it to be this exciting! I am really glad that he contacted me and I was available for that morning. Once we figured everything out, this was the fun part. I got up at 3:30AM and left Sacramento and headed to Napa, CA. I beat traffic by about 20 minutes. A lot of people that live in Sacramento, Dixon, Fairfield and Vacaville all commute to San Francisco to work, so I was very lucky to be able to pass the morning rush to Bay Area. It took me about 2 hours to get to Napa and we met up at a parking lot inside a Marriott Hotel. A suspicious looking van pulled up, had us sign some waivers and get in. We drove for another 20 minutes or so and arrived at our destination. It took a team of 4 people to get that hot air balloon to launch. After the hot air balloon flight, we finished off the photoshoot at the most famous and only castle in the Northern California region - Castello di Amorosa.
