Intimate Sacramento Wedding - Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center / The Sterling Hotel

Paul & Natalie

Their wedding took place at the Sterling Hotel in Sacramento. The great thing about having a wedding at a hotel is that the dressing rooms, the ceremony and the reception are at the same location. By having the venue in the heard of downtown Sacramento, we were walking distance from any major point in downtown. The wedding was until 4:00pm and prior to the wedding day, we decided that we want to take some pictures at the Sacramento State Capitol and head over to William Land Park for the post wedding photo session. During the wedding, we managed to sneak out and take a portrait of the couple to gift to the mother of the bride and the parents of the groom. With the help of my girlfriend Oxie, she made a trip to Walgreens for me to pick up two frames and pick up the prints. The parents were very surprised that they managed to get the photos out so fast.

After the wedding, everyone hopped into the limousine and made their way to the State Capitol building. We roamed around and captured great photos before making our way back to Sterling Hotel. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make it to William Land Park due to time issues, but we made sure to capture what we can with the light we had.

Though it was very short, though it was very memorable. It's always an awesome feeling being able to document a wedding of my dear friends.

Paul & Natalie, I wish you nothing but the best in your journey ahead together.
